After a head injury, it’s SO important to have people in your life who are positive forces and can help you to focus your energy on your healing.
When the people in your life are pressuring you to perform, get better fast, or putting you down because of your TBI, it’s time to sit down and think about this person’s influence on your one and only brain.
If you are struggling with negative people in your life, know that there are many more others who will understand and love you for who you are!!!
To all: try to find a brain injury support group in your area. The BIAA has them for survivors and caregivers! I went to one and it helped me SO much!!
