You can do anything, but not everything!
Try not to push yourself to do EVERYTHING at one time. As a brain injury survivor, one of the things we battle is cognitive fatigue. There is limited mental energy per day. If you are feeling cognitively fatigued, remember that it's okay to take breaks! Don't be hard on yourself for not being the way you were pre-injury. It's hard to adjust to a new normal, and to realize that you can't do everything you used to do - the em
otional journey can be exhausting in itself. But as you take small steps towards recovery, you will find yourself being able to take on more and more. :) #hopeafterheadinjury - Cristabelle Braden
